Muffin Sugar Blow-Off

A 30" Model 10030X X-Stream Air-Blade™ Air Knife blows off excess sugar from muffins prior to entering an oven to avoid burning of the sugar improving the quality of the end product. The X-Stream Air-Blade™ Air Knife has a wide range of control of blow-off force by varying the pressure. The low noise level allows workers to be more comfortable around the conveyer.

A stainless steel 1-1/4" Ring-Vac™ Air Conveyor Model 30002S is used to convey dried peas from one area to another in a per food production facility, replacing former manual handling of the product and improving plant efficiencies.

Water Blow-Off From Vegetables

Panel Cooler

A very critical electrical control panel with 10 horsepower of frequency drives in a remote pharmaceutical operation was overheating during the summer. Previously they had tried external fans that were inadequate in the hot summer days. They tried an HCFC based air conditioner on the panel but the compressor tended to fail during the hottest days. Reliability was extremely important so they installed a model 63025 Frigid-X™ Panel Coolers control panel cooling system with on-off control. The unit normally was not required to operate in the winter so the thermostat and solenoid valve automatically turned the unit on when needed, and off when adequately cooler. They got both reliability and essentially maintenance free operation.

Bottle Drying

Two Model 10012X X-Stream Air-Blade™ Air Knife used far less compressed air than previous drilled pipe, and provided a much stronger and effective blow-off.

Applications Include:

A 30" Model 10030X X-Stream Air-Blade™ Air Knife blows off excess sugar from muffins prior to entering an oven to avoid burning of the sugar improving the quality of the end product. The X-Stream Air-Blade™ Air Knife has a wide range of control of blow-off force by varying the pressure. The low noise level allows workers to be more comfortable around the conveyer.

An 18" Standard Air-Blade™ Air Knife is used to blow excess water off vegetables after initial wash during their processing, preventing water buildup on the conveyor lines which previously caused undue maintenance downtime

Air Blade™ Ionizer in Packaging Operation

In the packaging section of a cheese plant, small dust particles were attracted to the plastic web causing severe quality issues. Due to the environment, a contact brush was not possible and a blower ionizer was too large. In addition, they needed adequate force to blow off any dust that may just "stick". A 12" Model 15112 Air-Blade™ Ionizer neutralized the plastic preventing the dust attraction and also loosened and removed any particulate from the web. It was mounted to blow the dust away from the direction for packaging providing a clean barrier for the product. It was compact, and essentially maintenance free. Scrap rates were reduced dramatically. The units also “last” because of the high quality static bar, fully shielded cable. Many competitive units had poor quality cable that leads to early failure of their static bar.
