High Temperature Vortex Tubes is a Standard
Vortex tubes are can be made of different materials – some companies make them in aluminum, some in stainless steel but almost all use plastic “generators” inside the units. But a vortex tube is used to “cool”. This means that they are used often in “high temperature environments”. So some companies actually charge “extra” to replace cheap plastic parts. Nex Flow™ goes the full course – all our vortex tubes are stainless steel, with metal generators and high temperature O-rings – no extra costs for high temperature applications.
For example, in Asia some competitive units which were special, extra-cost so-called high temperature vortex tubes that were used to cool a camera face, were replaced with “standard” lower cost Nex Flow™ vortex tubes because they required better cooling which Nex Flow™ was able to give.
